On November 23, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the United States Senator, member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources Steve Daines.

During the meeting, a useful exchange of views took place regarding the need to realize the existing potential and new opportunities in further expanding the multifaceted relations between Tajikistan and the United States in the spirit of friendship and long-term partnership.

In particular, the parties discussed the topic of strengthening the political dialogue and regional security and stability, developing cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of economy and trade, investments, energy, water resources and glaciers’ preservation, tourism and other fields.
